The dawgs 'n me been burning the past few days. A few weeks to gather the stuff up (yeah i'm slow, have to plan it out just right y'know.) They're a big help, really keep me going.

lol.

This is the time of the year for it, anybody else burning flotsam and jetsam, roasting dogs in the woods?

Thanks for the pics! I'm starting to look forward to seeing a bit of bare ground here too. I've burned a little, and will get out there, and burn some more now that the snow melting enough to get around a bit easier. Did see a few deer on a bare patch by the highway coming home tonight. Good to see them out, and about too.

I love the Spring -- the buds coming out, the rabbits and chipmunks jumping around, the birds yelling in the woods. My favorite season.

This year is light for burning. The winter wind knocked over only a couple of trees (alder weeds) and limbs. I 'dozed the brush back last fall so that won't be much trouble until next year again.
