Bunt 1700-Ford

Did not want to hijack the other guys post so, serial Number is 708204 so I am assuming it is a 1980. Loader is a 770 ford. Oil filter says Q4457 but can not make out brand name yet. It has 1900 hours, back blade has no name but tilts and angles. Cylinders on loader weep a little and the five foot bucket is in good shape. Front tires are new, but rear have some weather cracks.
Will be taking the hose off feeding the fuel filter from the fuel tank to see position of shut of valve. Do not want to run it out of fuel and the handle of the shut off valve was half ways cocked so do not know position for off or on, The tdh I will have to call or see if it is compatable, no NH dealer in this area.

Congrats on your purchase. You can use Fram PH2825 that matches the OEM filter. Fuel filter lever facing down is open, facing the direction of the hose is off, go figure that??, It is the opposite of handle position on a quarter turn valve (ball valve). very easy to start it should you run dry,fill the tank, expel the air from the injector pump, crack the nut on the injector and turn the engine a few time to get rid off the air, tighten the nit and you are good to go. I have detail on it my my threads. do a search and you'll find them. Fuel filter fram CG9271 is same as OEM.

Yes before I took the line apart on the fuel valve, I tried turning it when Machine was running, sure reacted fast, only takes a few seconds turned in the off positions to start to stall, yes it seems to be a backward valve, never seen one before in industry before. The filter on it is a Q4457, white in color, may be a new holland filter can not see that part, it is made in US , checked the oil in the injector pump from your information from past posts, it was very low. Next I will see if I can get the Oil filter and then do an oil change, after is the hydrolic drain and clean screen, as it is cavatating a wee bit
