Glad you are going to be OK, I am pretty paranoid about keeping my eyes. I learned my lesson when I was in college. I was working for a metal building guy in the winter. He was stretching a bungee across some ladders and it slipped off whipped around the back of his head and stuck into the side of his head. He went straight down, I thought he was done the way he dropped, didn't even make a sound. He was ok after a few stitches but it could have been pretty bad if he got it in the eyeball.
