I would think that they could be retipped if you could find the carbide at a reasonable price.I have been looking but have not found the right insert yet.FAE and Fecon carbide inserts look very much alike though the holders are different. Anybody have any ideas where to look?

There is a company in Memphis, TN that is remanufacturing Fecon, FAE, Seppi teeth. Their website is not updated showing the tools but the contact information is correct. Freight Shield :: Door Jamber :: OpTeam Products. They stock the rebuilt teeth and you ship your used teeth back in the same box. $44 per tooth including shipping both ways. They also have different grades of carbide available depending on what terrain you are dealing with (rocky, sandy, etc.)
