Building your own ROPS

Anybody interested in building after market ROPS.......and reading french should have a look on these links :

The first one is a (free) software designed by french agricultural ministry (Excel) which compute exactly the characteristics of your ROPS (EEC approved) from the technical data of your tractor and explain how to fix it on your tractor, how to make folding ROPS ect...

The second one is the 32 pages manual (acrobat) for this software.

Even if you are not fluent in french there are many useful technical drawings in these documents.

If needed I can help to translate parts of them.

Too bad that's not in english as I recently purchased a tractor without rops. I will have them however since it will be used on mainly hilly terrain. Still may have a go at their instructions though, the diagrams are pretty easy to follow.
