ya i had been looking for some of this myself, lot of these online metal places look really good till you hit the shipping....then ouch... i found a few pieces on amazon with free shipping and last time i found a place called low range off road which had freee shipping over 50.00 (not sure if its all the time or i hit a promo) but look into it. im also finding i have to take my 1 round stock down a little bit to slide in the dom...im using hot rolled and the scale makes it a bit bigger then 1'" pins might be a bit different i don't know

Been a little while since I've bought any material but I usually use onlinemetals.com or midwestmetalwarehouse.com for DOM and 1144 stress proof for making pins and bushings. It does require either the DOM be opened up or the pins turned down a bit to achieve desired clearance.

bukitcase, thanks for the wheel cylinder hone idea. i have a hone that is at least 40 years old and it would work if off by a smidgeon. thanks for the idea. rob

If you're using DOM, the brake hone is only good for taking a VERY small amount off, if you have a lot to do I would recomend a reamer.
