I am wanting to build an attachment for my B2620 LA364 loader. I need to be able to handle 500 lb square bales.
Could a set of forks mounted onto the bucket work or do I have to build a complete fork/frame and remove the bucket?

Get you a set of these. The Spear and the forks interchange. They are skid steer QA

I have bucket forks that attach to the bucket. They slide on and off and are bolted to the lower back of the bucket. I have used them to lift large round hay bales, downed trees, brush, etc. I use them so often they are on the bucket about 80% of the time. With the tractor, FEL and forks I do a lot of work by myself.
