Stu,Well, here is my closet pic and I have a bit of fish eye, too. Never noticed it until now, I suppose the close ups of things that are meant to be vertical really highlight it.

The folks are going to howl, as I'm sending back your door in the final fix at the same size you posted it.
You do have some barrel distortion up close but you should be able to fix that in the photo editor that probably came along with your camera.
You deleted the EXIF data from your post so I don't know what make or model your camera is or what focal lenght you were using?
It is good to delete that data, especially if you have GPS built in to the camera and you don't want your location pinpointed on Google maps or Earth, so I am not
complaining.
You created some other distortion by 1. holding the camera crooked ( I do the same thing if I'm not careful ) 2. Creating perspective distortion both horizontally and vertically.
To avoid this the camera needs to be in the middle of the frame and parallel to the door. You were a little high and off to one side as well as tilted. Again, you should be able to correct all this
pretty easy in your editor, but it is a lot easier to shoot it right in the first place. Up this close you should probably use a tripod so you can go out in front and look to see how the camera is tilted
in relationship to the subject. Download the attachments so you can view them full size to see the correction steps.
What I want to know from you is.... Are the inside of the closet walls lined with steel plate or can I just go to a side and kick the wall in with my boot?
