build your own UTV?

Anyone built one before? My buddy is wanting trade some stuff, which includes a 23hp ***. shaft running motor. So started to think, yea that might work, hmmmmm

There was a thread somewhere where this guy built one out of two riding lawn mowers. You could recognize things like rear fenders used on front wheels but at first glance you'd swear it was factory. I am sorry that I can't remember where it was but maybe I've described enough that somebody else will know what I'm talking about.

Ic you have acces to a bunch of used part ( maybe a atv scrap yard in you area) have a lot of time to spare and are a good DIY, it sure can be done. But it maybe cheaper to by an older real utv and fix it up

there are a couple threds on "minibuggy.net" and "pirate4x4.com" where guys have built their own. A couple were pretty impressive builds.
