For the L series Tractors, does anyone know what these various Hyd Remote Valve abbreviations mean?

(1) Standard Valve with Lever Kit
(1) Standard Valve (1) DV with Lever Kits
(1) Standard Valve (1) FD with Lever Kits
(1) Standard Valve (1) DV (1) FD with Lever Kits
(1) Standard Valve (2) DV with Lever Kits
(1) Standard Valve (2) FD with Lever Kits

Just not sure what the DV and FD mean?

The double acting gives you two way hydraulic power for cylinders. The Float will give you a detent to allow what the cylinder is hooked to to go up and down as it needs so you have no down pressure on the implement and it can accomadate changes.

A float valve will do everything a Double action Valve will do and additionally will float as described above.

Yep.. On my NH.. you have fore/aft on the remotes for DA.. then if you kick the handle all the way forward.. it goes into float.
