Bugs and Boric Acid

Boric Acid sounds like a good bug solution.

Anyone know if it is toxic to other animals (cats & dogs)? We have both and one dog in particular will eat ANYTHING so we have to be careful.

Years ago I saw a formula for roaches using boric acid in a Hints from Helouise column. A search on the web turned up this sitehttp://www.geocities.com/~olelo/r-roach.html It looks simular to the one that geneP describes.
