Post a pic of it. I love the little 'awkward' offset look on these tractors.
Sickle bar mowers are neat too.. I may look for one for this tractor, and try some hobby hay. I also know where I can get an old cheap square bailer that I can pull behind one of my fords..

I thought the buggy top would add to the 'vintage' look.
I mow with it almost every week.. about 1-1.5 acers of right of way between the road and my home, and the neighbors home.
I park it under a pole barn so it has protection directly overhead.. and some partial protection from half walls. The cover is doing nicely.. just a bit of dust and dirt.

Sicklebar mowers for those machines are kinda quirky... The runs only when the clutch is out makes them interesting to use.
I had a 47 farmall cub with a sicklebar mower and it worked ok but you go through a lot of pitman arms... I used to make mine out of oak.
What would really work nive for you is to find a 7' or 8' Mott hammerknife mower that is self powered and tow behind....
They work really nice and the machine will pull it fine...

I'm familiar with the Mott name.. but have only seen flail mowers. I havn't seen, or don't know what a hammer knife mower is.
Can you cut grass for haying with it? That's why I was considdering a sicklebar mower.

My mott flail is a ‘mott hammer knife’, It is a belly mounted flail. I have it on my cub, and it won’t cut hay so you can put it up. It will however pulverize it much like any flail mower.
The mott hammer knife mower is the ‘finish mower’ of the flails. I would not mind having a sickle mower for this cub, they are cute and a very good mower. Also I like having things around that the little IH can do. KennyV.

I still use that cub every couple weeks to mow 1-2 ac of right of way where it is just two narrow for comfort with my ford NAA.
The cubs 44"? belly mower cuts nice.. just like a lawnmower.
A sickle bar would be the 'bomb' though.. then that would give me an excuse to buy an old IH square bailer down the road, and pull it behind the NAA .. and do some hobby hay.
