Ck30 hst I have 5ft. front bucket, I would like to replace it with a bigger bucket, do you see any problems and how big can I go. Coming close to 600 hrs I have never ran my ck30 over 2000 RPM's. If I run it no more than 2600 RPM's from time to time, should be ok ?

I don't see how bucket size is related to RPM except perhaps with lift cycle speed. I'd think counterweight would be a bigger issue than engine rpm. I am not certain but I think lift capacity is not really affected that much by engine speed. The speed of lifting may be affected but you have the same pressure in your hydraulic system (I think) at both normal and max engine speed. Unless I am confused the pressure in the hydraulics is constant but the gallons per minute of flow varies with engine rpm. I rarely run my engine over 2000-2100 but the thing is rated to run at about 2600 all day long so there would be no problem doing that.

With the Markham toothbar on my CK30 bucket, I can carry twice as much firewood.
