Bucket mod

I added some tool holders to my bucket today. There's four altogether, made out of 1/4" plate. Here's two of them being used to hold a shovel.

Actually this is the idea I had a month ago or so for pushing fence posts into the ground. Check it out.

From the rear. You can see I welded to the upper lip of the bucket and the top of the bucket, so it should add quite a bit of strength if I want to hook a chain onto the lip or through the brackets.

Hanging nice and plumb. I made the receiver big enough for chainlink posts.

Pushed into the ground. I went in a lot further than I usually hammer them in.

Whalla! It's as plumb as you can get the tractor side to side and stayed pretty plumb the other way, too. Putting the snow fence up this year should be a breeze /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
