bucket/loader 2516/2816

what a fun day tractor shoppping ok now for a serious question. the 2516 comes with a 48" bucket vs the 60" bucket on the 2816..Same lift capacity on both tractors.. is it possible to put a 60" bucket on the 2516 or are major modifications needed? Like the size of the 2516 but would love the larger bucket,,Thanks:thumbsup:

Don't know, but I drove a 2516 Gear this morning and REALLY liked the shuttle shifter for loader work. Ended up buying a JD 3032E this afternoon, but that little 2516 certainly had me thinking hard for a while. Nice little tractor.

Will not fit.
You will have major modifications.

The lil' 2516 can lift as much as you can get in the bucket. I have yet to fill it with anything it could not lift. I rather have it like this instead of with a larger bucket that I needed to be careful about what I'm lifting.
