IF you look real close you can just make out the peice of pipe ive got welded there.The cutting edge slips under the pipe just enough to hold them in place.Then by pulling from the back of the forks with the strap[or binder] they cant come off.

Now I see...
Yours need the tension of the straps to hold them into place and the strap over the top of the bucket actually carries part of the load instead of the bucket lip. I don't see any reason that won't work. Your straps probably have 4 or 5 times the test strength of any load you are likely to put on the forks anyhow. Also, your straps don't rust. Unfortunately, my chain is not coated and has rusted. I may paint it one of these days.
