Brush Hog Selection

I'm looking at a Woods BB72X or a BB720X. I have a 2008 4720. How do I make the decision between the two? I want a high quality cutter, but don't want to spend more than I have to for the work I'll be doing. I'll be cutting some thick CRP/trailer maintenance/light mowing/ occasionally going through some small trees/thick brush.

Thoughts?

Relate the maximum diameter of brush to be cut and whether hardwood or softwood.
