So, if that happens while somebody is in the cage while higher up than whatever ladders you have, how do you get them down?
Seems like a PROPER system would allow a slow, controlled descent without hydraulics.
I guess you call the fire department. They’re designed not to give you a free ride down when the hose bust. The problem is the valves are directly on the cylinder and can’t be bypassed. I’ve seen vertical lifts with overrides but I’ve never seen a boom lift which requires multiple cylinder working to stay level with a manual override.
