Broke the steering pin on BX after 230hrs.

Working on burning up a huge pile of debris today I lost steering. Looks like an easy fix but the pin threads are wasted. Cotter pin and slotted washer gone in dirt somewhere. The first trick was to come up with a makeshift nut... to get my steering back so I could limp 'er up my hill and get to the garage for repair. A vise grip surprisingly did the job! :thumbsup: I needed to replace the boots anyways as they were already ripped up.

Were there any strange warning sounds. My BX is emitting a strange creaking sound occasionally when I turn the wheel under heavy load and I have not been able to identify what may be causing it. I can say it's coming from the front of the tractor. It may be from the QA but I cannot replicate it all the time.
