Mowing with his DX29 with a hydrostatic drive, made a turn on flat ground and lost all control from the hydrostatic control pedal. It runs full speed forward with no reverse, no slowing. Have to use the clutch and brake to stop.

Whatever range I'm in, 1,2 or 3, let the clutch out and it's off to the races. When I shut it off and start it in neutral, when I put it in gear and let out the clutch, it doesn't move until I press the pedal forward, then it's off to the races again with no control from the hydrostatic. No slowing, no stop, no reverse. Any ides?

Just a wild guess, but I think I'd start by checking the linkage for the hydro pedal.

10-4 on that. I looked at that first thing. I figured there was a spring or something to return the pedal to the neutral position. Thought maybe the spring broke. But it's ok. Looks ok underneath when I operate the pedal as far as the linkage and everything, but of course I don't know what I'm looking at.
