super nice. I need to break down and buy one too. I'v been driving the same Ford Ranger for 18 years and it's just shy of 200K. It's more than paid for itself but its time to upgrade. I would like to get a F-250 since I pull trailers sometimes.

Beautiful truck man!
I really like that color. Integrated brake controller must be part of a tow package, right?

Just what I am looking for but finding it hard to find one with a 6' bed everything seems to have the 8' bed. Nice color hope you get many miles out of her.

Yes it is and I was very pleased with that feature. I still have my 03 Z71 but that my wife's truck. It only has 57 thousand miles on it but this one is mine. It really replaces my 89 3/4 ton truck. I hated the short bed Chevy with a V6, it was a nice truck but just didn't cut it for me. I need and 8 foot bed and a V8

No this will live outside next to the other truck. The bug is gone and I only kept that inside because of the rag top

Congratulations on a nice truck. It's the same color as my 2009 Silverado, and I loved that color quite a bit. I went with black for my new ride because the Black F250 really grew on me, but I thought really hard about buying another Granite Blue Metallic Chevy. You've shamed me into taking some pics of my new rig now. Now that I've got the Bakflip installed, I'll have to take some pictures and post them here. One thing you may want to think of adding at some point is the bigger towing mirrors. After going from the mirrors like yours on my half ton, to the F250 mirrors, I decided to make sure that I ended up with the towing mirrors on the 2500HD, they're really nice. It's a pretty simple swap too. Congrats again on a nice truck.

Congrats on the new truck. You will like the brake controller, that is the best feature on these new trucks. Hands down better than any aftermarket units.

One thing i like is chevy has filled the wheel wells better. In mid 2000s the tires and rims looked tiny in those big wells. Nice looking truck. Keep us posted on how it does.

If I recall correctly, it was 3/4 tons mainly work truck package. The 1/2 tons were fine.

Chris

That's true, I have one in mine..It does take some getting used to. The aftermarket ones are somewhat binary..The OEM's are proportional, I wasn't used to that..I do like the OEM better.

That could be all mine were 1/2 tons except the 89. My 72, 71, & 68 were 3/4 ton 2 wheel drives. My 73 rotted out while you were lookin at it.

Loved the one I had. Just couldn't stand the 11.5 MPG. I did have a 4:10 axle ratio though.

What type of mileage are you getting?
