I would like to increase the headlight bulbs in my B2150 to 25 or 35 watt range, replacing the 12v 15/15w originals. The original bulbs seem to be a rare type and not easily located locally. Can someone please help me find this type bulb in the 25 watt range in either a Kubota part or other source? Tnx.

If you could post a picture of the bulb and / or a part number that is found on the bulb, it would make it easier to know what would interchange. Today, there are so many different type of bulb mounting sockets, it is hard to tell with out some more information......

Take one of the bulbs down to your local Auto-Zone. I bet they have it, and in a higher wattage.

You find that the larger wattage (35) will create to much heat. Which may melt the plastic in the light housing.
My B2910 came with 23 watt bulbs. I put 50 watt bulbs that I bought at Auto Zone. They were in a package for Blazer lights. When I asked at the counter no one knew anything about them.
Attached is a picture of the bulbs that I have. The one on the right is 23 watts. Left is 50 watt.

Ron,

Did you find that the 50 watt bulbs created too much heat in the housing of your B2910 ? If not, it sounds like a cheap upgrade I might want to make.

I'm enclosing a picture of my 15w bulb. There is something printed on the base besides the wattage but I can't read it. I would prefer a 25 watt bulb or even the 23 watt from the 2910 but mine uses a different type bulb. 15 watts is very poor for a headlight. Thanks again.

I had already checked Autozone without any luck but thanks for the help anyway.

I would be happy with 23w 25w or even 27w. I don't think they would melt the lens but who knows. Many people have jumped to 50 watts with different tractor models without a meltdown, but I'm willing to stay on the safe side. Thanks for your advice.

The 50 watt lights did not cause any problems. I put a set of 35 W Halogen bulbs in. They started to melt their own plastic adapters.
Took them out before any damage was done to the headlight housing.
I have the original 23 watt bulbs back in the headlights since I have installed lights on FROP's.
