Briggs ELS Engine

I am seriously looking at a Scag Freedom Z mower ... 52'' cut.

The one on the lot (2009) has a Briggs ELS motor (26 hp).

Does anyone have experience with this motor? Comments ... good and not-so-good?

For the home owner this is a great engine. We have sold several mowers with this same engine with little to no problems. Briggs and Stratton makes a quality product in the ELS and Vanguard engines.

The quote for the Scag (2009 model but new) is $4,800.

thats a very good price considering the replacment mower will be over $5000.00
