I have a 1965 855 Wheel Horse and the guy i bought it frmsaid it was rebuilt. i dont believe him because after you run the tractor for a while the breather lets out tons of oil each time. I AM going to rebuilt the engine now. it is a K181 Kohler. if you have any good places to buy parts please let me know. Thanks

I would say you either have a clogged oil drainback in the valve cavity area, or something is wrong with the breather like bad reed valve or improperly installed breather mesh. To assess this area remove the carb and remove the cover that covers the valves. If that is not the problem area then you probably have cylinder damage that will get expensive quick.

If he honed the cylinder and didn't get it cleaned properly the honing grit will take out the cylinder and rings in just a very short time (3-5 hours)

We had a single 6HP briggs that one day we knew better used a lighter grade of oil than we should have. It foamed out of the breather.
We went to the auto supplier and purchased straight SAE 30 detergent grade oil.
As it was a rototiller they are only used in the summer.
No more foaming out the breather.
