Hi Guys -
We are finally starting make headway on the homesite. The floor plans were completed today and the builder is hammering out the details soon. I had a chance last week to boxblade what the bulldozer did last month. There were tall peaks and low ruts throughout this clearing that the rain hardened. My little kubota performed very well and flattened this out in about 4 hours. Not too bad for my first time out w/a boxblade. Now i am officially hooked.
We also, a little while ago, were able to blaze the trail down to the creek. It turned out to be about 1000 winding feet - you can REALLY notice the elevation drop going back up the darn thing.
We should be able to pour footings and slabs in the next month or so. I'll keep the pics updated as i need to document this anyway!!
