Owners of either Branson BH76 OR Kubota BH76 backhoes, (anybody) I need your help.

I'm shopping for a ripper for my Branson backhoe but the choices are narrow. I often see manufacturers offering rippers for the Kubota BH76 but not the Branson BH76. Since Amsung makes the backhoes for both Branson & Kubota, I'm wondering if they are essentially the same. Would anyone be willing to provide their Kubota BH76 bucket pin dimensions? It would help me tremendously.

Also, are there any quick-attach options for the BH76 so one can change out the buckets easily?

What are your fabricating abilities? A ripper shouldn't be very hard to build. After I get done with this scraper I plan to make a ripper from it.

I could fabricate but I'd like to defer to getting it from a company that has done their engineering. I'm not capable of making intricate cuts, making beveled edges, using high quality steel, etc.

Hi AM,
We have the Ripper, Quick-On BH Bucket Connector (quick attach) and Trenching Bucket available now for the Kubota BH65/70/75/76/77/ B4672A and BH4690B. Here:Quick-On Back Hoe Attachments and Quick Connector
We have not had an opportunity to evaluate the fit on the Branson or Amsung machines so we don't know the compatibility. These are new items for us so we have these dimensions close at hand. Feel free to give Ryan a call at 704-435-0650 and he will be glad to give you the dimensions of the Kubota BH to compare to your machine.
Regards,
Harry

Harry,

Could you post the dimensions of the Quick-on backhoe connector for the BH76? I'd like to know the pin diameter, the inside width of the top section (or the outside width of the lower section), and the spacing of the pins in relation to each other. This info would enable me to compare it with my Branson BH76 as I don't own a Kubota.

Thanks,
Sean

It's there. They just added it today. The just can't confirm it for the Branson, hence the dimensions request. Hopefully, it's compatible and I can order it.

Still wondering if anyone has a BH76 Backhoe to provide info?

Picked up one last week... I might be able to assist if still needed.

I too would be interested to know if they fit the Branson version of the BH76. Not so much in the quick connect, but in the trenching bucket...

Awesome! I'm eager to know more. Do you have a Kubota BH76? Any measurements so I can compare?

Here is a primitive dimensional drawings showing my Branson/Ansung BH76 bucket.

Aquamoose, were you ever able to confirm that the BH76 on the Kubota is the same as the one on the Branson?

I want to buy a 6" trenching bucket and want to make sure I'm buying one that fits.

Thanks!

p.s. - If the drawing isn't clear the distance between pins (centers) is 5.5", the pin diameter is 1", and the dipper width is 4.375"

Never did hear if they would be compatible. I fabricated my own ripper.

Thanks for the quick reply Aquamoose.

I'm gonna call Messick's and BXpanded to see if they have any information.

I'll let everyone know what I find out.

Figured you can use this drawing with measurements when you communicate with BXpanded. Let me know how it goes!

Thanks Aquamoose. I have that same drawing!

BTW earlier in this thread it seemed like someone was saying that the dimensions were on BXpanded's website but I couldn't find it.

Anyways yes, I'll report back after I speak with them.
