Actually 2.3 million is a large expense for just a move to upgrade for assembly and distribution. The post as I read it did not say anything but a move to accomodate growth which means to me larger facility, more room to expand thus requiring more employees.
I worked for a company that annually does almost 4 billion. I was in an engineering department that grew from 260 when I was hired to over 2500 in 5 years time. When we moved because we needed more space we moved into larger buildings but took all of our equipment both in labs and design stations so I imagine we spent far less than 2.3 million on a move yet we dominate the market in our field. If some one came in and said that was a joke then I would counter that we had zero debt, owned 28 buildings and sat on 3 billion in cash. Our move may have been paltry but it was only to accomodate expansion.
Now, had the poster said that the move was for the design and production of new products I would agree but it simply indicated to me only a need for more assembly space and distribution space as they are expanding.
