8050 reason for discontinued production.
From my understanding is lack of support. The 8050 was produced in the same production line as the European market for the JD. So if you sell 200 JDs and 20 Branson's which would you supply service for more readily? Yes the JD. So Kukje supplied service manuals for the JDs and not the Branson 8050. The 8050 does not have service manuals available for it. Thus any problems that would arise for the 8050 was hard to repair due to lack of schematics and service manuals. Branson said they can't have that and discontinued orders for the 8050. I'm pretty sure if you try hard enough you could still get an 8050 from Branson if they have any left in the yard, but don't count on having any support for that tractor. Last time I was at the Branson office they had like 3 8050s left. I think they are a very heavily built tractor and I guess they have had very little trouble with them but unfortunately due to the above mentioned they are no longer being produced. Hope this helps .
