You can also get inexpensive USB bore scopes that use your computer's display. Kind of a hassle carrying a laptop out and finding a place to prop it while you scope things but for infrequent use it's ok.

I'm about 60 miles or so SW of Houston. I don't have any service history on the tractor. I did flush the coolant a couple of weeks ago. The coolant looked orange coming out and I figured it was rust. After seeing pictures online of oil getting in the coolant, it looked like one of those pictures. All the injector tips looked the same. They looked like there was a bit of carbon build up on them, but when I used the tester on them, they weren't clogged. We did crack the feed lines to the injectors and all four acted the same and it smoked the entire time.

Fuel pump failing? Or fuel filter?

Not getting enough fuel as rpm goes up but you have enough fuel at lower rpm.
So possibly fuel volume/flow restriction.

Just my thought. Not a mechanic but I did stay at a holiday inn...

I was surfing a couple of days ago and ran across an article about water in the diesel causing that problem...Something you might investigate.

Did a combustion leak test and it came up negative twice. Used a scope, but couldn't see that well. All 4 chambers looked alike though. I pulled the exhaust manifold and ran it. No smoke from any cylinder until hitting 2100 rpm. It started running rough at that point with white smoke coming out of 1 & 2, but couldn't see any from 3 & 4. At 2600 there was quite a bit of smoke from 1 & 2, and 3 & 4 had a little smoke coming from them also. I had the heat shield resting in front of the exhaust ports and I couldn't see any diesel or oil coming out with the exhaust.

I'm starting to think it's either a head gasket, cracked head, or cracked block between cylinders. I'd place a light wager on it being head or head gasket.

I did a leak test this weekend and got all 4 cylinders with leaks. 1 & 4 more than the other 2. All of the leaks seemed to be coming out of the exhaust ports. Could it be the exhaust valves not seating correctly?

Could be.

Can you do a quick valve adjustment?
