Jerri,
If my memorie is correct the C40 has the frame that partialy block the side panel to the engine. I personaly think the C50 is worth the difference in price.
Which tractor did he quote the C50 on? Just courious if he was selling the Zetor C series.

He was quoting the Century C47 equivalent to Branson 4720. Will try to get over his way this weekend.
