Need help trying to figure out an issue I have been having with my 4720. Tractor has 180 hrs and is routinely serviced to the tee. I have had very few issues in the past with tractor and has been a pleasure to own and operate. The issue is somewhat wierd and want to know if anyone else has had this trouble before I start troubleshooting it this week so I will try to explain as best I can. Tractor is hooked to and operating a 6ft Bushhog brand shredder running at recommended rpm's, medium gear, 3rd and 4th drive gear. After about an hour of running when I clutch to make a turn or slowdown the tractor struggles to take off again. There is no bogging of the motor or shedder when this happen and 4wd seems to be operating ok because it loads up on trailer just fine without ramps. Completely serviced tractor last month changing all filters and engine oil. Hydraulic filter has also been changed yearly and oil does not look or smell burnt. What is interest is that once the pto is disengaged and tractor rpm's lowered to idle, the tractor will take off great when clutch is released. Also tried increasing rpm's without pto engaged and tractor is slow to take off so that ruled out the shredder. What is weird is that it would seem like the motor would be bogging down but it doesn't. New fuel filter also and tractor cranks right up on the first try and runs smooth. Anyone have any thought on what could be causing this issue. Thanks

Check the clutch freeplay ... sounds like the clutch is slipping.
