You asked whether anyone had tried to increase the horsepower of a 2400 by fitting the turbo and/or exhaust manifold from the 2800. Why would you ask that if you were happy with the power of the 2400?

A new turbo and manifold won't change your transmission.

It sounds funny but I have a 2010 ram 2500 Cummings and love the turbo and think it would be badass to have that whistle from my tractor

Plus we are all looking to get more power whether we need it or not is another story my truck puts out over 500 horsepower and over a 1000 ft lbs of torque now I am sure I don't need this but I like it
