I 'am thinking of purchasing 4220i -with loader an back hoe
Any downside to a new model purchase ?

I've used a Branson (Century) and I can tell you they are very stout. I am not familiar with that model, however.

I have never operated any of the Branson tractors, but from what I have seen at the AG shows they appear to be a a well laid out machine. From what I have seen, all of the Korean made tractors are pretty good machines. Maybe double check with the dealer and with the next closest Branson dealer to get a feel for them to be sure that you will be able to get service-maintenance parts. Other than that, if the tractor is comfortable for you and the price is right, then go for it.

I bought a new 4720 in 2005 or so. Nothing but problems. Dealer and warranty were great but it was in the shop numerous times in the 300 or so hours I put on it before I sold it. 4220 might be better since it is same size as 4720 but less hp to break things.
