I recently returned a YM140 to service that had been stored for a few years. Taking it for a test run down the lane, I noticed that the brakes weren't functioning, so I took a look at the pads and the lining has deteriorated to dust. I tried some of the usual suspects for Yanmar parts, but turned up no replacement pads.
Anyone know of a dealer/parts supplier that carries this sort of thing for this model?
Barring finding replacements, I'm looking into some of the places that do brake relining. I've located two - one in Connecticut and one in North Carolina, but I'd rather deal with a local firm so I can avoid shipping parts that I might not be able to replace. Does anyone have any experience with relining services in SE Pennsylvania?
