Brake Adjustment

Apart from the collar in the brake rods is there any other adjustments on the rear brakes apart from this? when i seperate the left and right pedals the right goes right down whereas the left is up and works well. the adjusters are equal in length so it must be out in the brake mechanism? i will see if i can find a diagram to have a look at.

Inside the brake enclosure, the 'fixed' end of the brake shoes rest on a cam that can be turned a quarter turn to spread the shoes.
