Hi all,

Comparing different backhoes for my TC35. Wondering if anyone out there has a Bradco 511 mounted on one. Seems like a nice hoe, but I am concerned that it might be a bit much for my machine to handle. Any thoughts??

Hello

I did call Bradco on a aplication for my TC40D and they thought the 511 would be to much of a backhoe for the 40 . I would call Bradco and Woods to talk to a salesman to see what they warrant . I think a 508 or 509 might be the one they recomend.

I mounted a Bradco 611 on my TC 55 and it handles like the two were made for each other. I tried out a 511 mounted on a TC 45 and it also was nothing short of fantastic. I didn't need such a large hoe but it was used and the price I thought was a give away. I know nothing will ever bend or break on the hoe. It is built like a battleship. I always like to buy the next notch bigger than go trade for what I actually needed. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything Bradco builds. They are the leader in quality machinery.

If you're going with a subframe mounted 511, you should be fine. The biggest thing I'd be worried about when using a 511 on a TC35 is the strength of the tractor itself. The 511 is a very strong backhoe, and definitely not recommended if you're mounting it on your 3-PH.
