Boyou 300 idle issue

I have a Kawasaki Boyou 300 2 WD, it is a 1996 model bought new. past couple years I have noticed it will stall out and not idle properly, It seem to eventually choke off if sitting idle for more then a few minutes especially once it heats up. Bad Carberutor?? other then that is runs fine while moving, just idling is the issue.

clean the jets in the carberator. this should take care of it.

I have a bayou 220, and it seems to like a really new plug. I think it might be running slightly rich, which might fowl them over time. Every year or so I pop in a new plug and it really smooths things out.
When I just used it for play, it seemed to be tunned right, but pulling sprayers and small trailers and other things, I do not think it gets to rev enough. Anyway I try and give it an "Italian tune up" every once in a while, but I really do not know if it helps clean things up.

I have an 89' 300 Bayou 4wd. Mine ran like crap and finally stoped all together. I took the carb a part and found lots of "crap" in the slidearea from the slide moving in the diaphram. It was jamming it up not allowing it to move. It might be wise to take it apart and give a look. I cleaned it all out and put a new needle valve in and it's run like mint for the last year.
