Forks Boy those pallet forks are handy!

I learned my lesson long ago on not buying cheap stuff. I want a set to swap back and forth between my L5030 and M8540.

I bought a set for the B3030 from HLA (someone previously had a link). We bought a bucket and manure fork from them for our M7040 and M8540 and they are heavy duty so a size for your M8540 would be the same quality. We are also thinking about getting a pallet fork for the M's as well in the future if the need comes up more often.

Thanks for the information. I am trying to prioritize my "needs/wants" right now. I just noticed I need to replace tie rod boots on my L5030 and it could use new front tires and my truck needs...

My forks have been worth there weight in gold so far, I don't know what I would do without them. They're about as much of a necessity as the bucket itself is.

I use mine at least twice as much as my bucket.

I got new forks delivered and started to use them immediately. I decided the forks were too wide and wanted to adjust them in a notch. As I slipped one fork inward, I uncovered a big, healthy black widow with a couple of egg sacks. I made a mental note to never do this chore with bare hands again. I grabbed a nearby rag and dispatched the spider and egg sacks without thinking of taking a picture.

Those front end loaders are wonderful, aren't they? ..... I just have to come up with a good, easy way to keep the wood on the skids and not fall off when being moved. I envy your garage, that's really something to play basketball indoors!

Just get some of that plastic pallet wrap, looks like over-sized kitchen wrap.
regards,
Steve
