We must think alike. I didn't make my own like you did, but I bought 3 furrowers at the local Kubota dealer to do exactly what you did. I also bought some extra shanks, the longer ones, from Agri-Supply. But guess what ... I bought them almost 2 years ago and still haven't mounted them to the new shanks.
Glad to see you got out there and did it.
