Without special circumstances the answer would be yes, 6' is to wide. You should look at a 5' box blade in my opinion, Maybe a 66" at the most if you have soft ground to work with, otherwise stick with a 5 footer. See what other people say that have that size tractor.ditzel said:
Thanks for the reply. I'm debating on picking up a used 6' box that a guy is selling locally, around here, decent used ones seem to be few and far between. The outside width of my rear tires is 5', so i'm hoping that the extra 6" on each side won't be too much for it too handle.

I have a 2615. If your tires are filled you will be able to handle the 6' BB. Although a 5' BB will be a better fit. But if you are getting the 6' BB at a great deal go for it. I have pulled a 7' grader blade with mine mainly because it was all I had at the time.

I think you are pushing it with a 72"'er , but it really depends on what type of material you are working. Your tractor has pretty good weight for its footprint and 4WMFWD gives you more traction so moving gravel, dirt, and/or box blading "shallow" should work "ok", but if you intend to really work the BB in heavy, rocky, root obstructed clay based soil, you might have some operational challenges. I went through the same process as you and finally decided that for my needs and conditions a 60" was a better fit (especially in the woods). Jay
PS: If the price is right for a good quality, used BB go that way. If it is too much for your tractor you can always resell it. People are always looking for a used BB in good condition.
