Not much of a winter project. My problem is when I start something that is fun I can't stop. I now have 12 hours on the project in 2 days. Tomorrow I will get material for the rippers and also start on the 3 point brackets. Hope my pictures work as I am pretty computer illiterate.

Nice work.

Nice shop, too.

First Mercedes workbench I ever saw.

;):) I beg your vision. That is a Jaguar work bench--1988 model-- it is another project I am not motivated to work on at the moment. Along with a river boat and 2 old tractors.

Good grief. Seems but a couple of hours ago that you were ordering steel. Your a wild man! Nice job!

Yea you'll have to find another winter project, maybe that riverboat? looks like it should be plenty heavy enough for some serious work.

Using the Jag's "boot" as a workbench is classier than when I use my pickup's tailgate for a flat spot to put stuff.

That's a heavy dude! Oughta last. I estimate 675-750 lbs from the last photo. Just guessing dimensions and that beam looks about like a W8 X 31.

:eek: The Blade is 3/8 plate 78" wide, 29" deep and 21 1/2 high. I am guessing when finished it will be about 500-600lbs. Hopefully my Massey 165 is up to it. More pics to come. Thanks guys:):)

Very nice start. I was going to make a joke about getting it off the saw horses but I see you have a loader. Keep the pictures comming.
