We recently purchased a used John Deere 2130 for our rural property, and have been happily using it for every task we can think of that could remotely require a tractor. Last week I decided to add a box blade to the collection, as I have a bunch of road to maintain and repair.
My limited understanding of the 3 point tells me the following: the tractor has 3 settings for the rockshaft: L (load), LD (load/depth) and D(depth). I'm unsure which of these settings to use for my box blade. The user manual doesn't have an example where a box blade is used. Could anyone offer any advice? Using a box blade is new to me, and I'd like to practice correctly. Thanks in advance.
