Box Scraper Box Blade on a Mahindra 28 XL HST

I need a box blade scraper and found a good deal locally, BUT! I have no experience with them. The one I am looking at is 6 foot wide and I am wondering if that is suitable for my tractor. If not, what size should I look for?

Your 28XL is similar to my TC29DA as to size and specs. The standard width on your tractor is ~54.3". You want a box blade wider than your footprint. I have had no problems with my 60" box blade; I could have gone a little wider; a lot depends on intended use and type of dirt you will be engaging. Heavier is better.

A 60" would be a good match for your tractor, as heavy as you can afford. I highly recommend a ROBB.
