It always seems like I either need a rake, shovel and even my weed wackier with me when out doing something when using the FEL. And if I'm not using the FEL I'm not comfortable carrying the tools there because they might just bounce out. So I decided there had to be a better way to carry thing's, so I added some hook's and a couple straps to the box blade plus two movable bars that help assist me when hooking up to the 3PT.

Love it, looks very functional and cheap to make , My kind of modification.

Yeah the the FEL is great for carrying things. But it does have it's limitation especially when it comes to the operator. Last week I went to the back of
my property and brought my shovel in the bucket. Forgot it was there and the shovel ended buried at the bottom of the pile. <Grin> really smart !!

I originally installed them to help increase the amount of snow that I could move in reverse and thus allow more snow to be kept behind the box. Plus they help increase the amount of snow or dirt pushed away when going forward. To me it's made the box blade more functional. I should have some pictures of it moving snow somewhere on the forum. Also I got the steel plates at Menards.

I like that. How is the board attached? Just to those two angle pieces? Can you get a picture from behind?

The two angle steel brackets are welded to the box and the board is just bolted
to the bracket. When the wife gets back from Indiana with the camera I'll get you a picture.

Here are some more pictures, but as you can see I decided today to really beef it up some by adding some different brackets made out of strut material. You can get the Cooper B-line brackets and I believe also the Strut material at Home Depot as that's where I have gotten my brackets and you can either weld or bolt them together or both.
