I thought I was going to buy a rancher but after picking it up I said no! and bought the 545 1/2 hp less then the rancher and lighter also! and it has enough power to cut down the the big pines!and I it like a hot knife though butter cutting the maple that fell last year. It also help to know how to sharpen the chain the right way.

545 is a much better saw than a rancher! Basically same saw as the 550xp. Pro quality with magnesium case. You did very well.
