New Holland TC-45D
Our local New Holland dealer, Wade Tractor in Griffin Georgia, held their annual customer appreciation day today. Door prizes, T-shirts, caps, hot dogs and pizza was all for the taking. They had all their equipment discounted quite a bit. I stayed for about 3 hours and witnessed 5 tractors, 2 tillers, and 3 bush hogs being sold. I finally grabbed a salesperson and asked about two remotes for my TC-35D. He did a little dance on his calculator and came back with $732.00 for the 2 kits. SOLD I said ! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif After a post many weeks back where the current price for remotes was stated at over $435.00 each I felt I had a good deal. Now I just have to wait 3 days for them to be shipped. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Now I"m headed off to "Pineridge's" page on installing remotes. Thanks Mike, I'm sure you will save me lots of time and pain by your well written tutorial.

I will post again after they are up and running.

I guess this means top and side link cylinders next from Carter and Carter.

Or run some lines forward and add a grapple to your bucket. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

kossetx: When I first priced the remotes 18 months ago the first one was $315.00 and the second was $345.00. Six months ago they were $350.00 for the first and $380.00 for the second. Several weeks ago someone posted they were well over $400.00 each. They want $1,000.00 for the two installed.

mike, thanks for the link and effort to post the site, it will come in handy. i have a tc 40 a. i wonder what the remote levers will look like without the console plate the da has. i mostly just want to put a root grapple on. do you run a hose from the rear remote to the graple or is there a remote i should be installing somewhere else? i.ve never had a remote before. do i need one or 2? tia, mp

sorry for not capitalizing, shift is out on my laptop keyboard.

Some members have run hoses from the rear remotes forward to the grapple. And some have just installed an electric diverter valve up front with a button on the joystick to control the grapple it boils down to $$$$ and personal choice. I would suggest adding at least 2 rear remotes myself.

Wow! That's the ole "give them good prices while shoving pizza and hot dogs down their throats and puttin' a hat on their heads" ploy. It works every time. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You are gonna love having remotes and getting TnT. I wouldn't be surprised to see you going back for the third one at next year's customer appreciation day. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just priced out a single rear remote for my TC40D yesterday $503.00 cash and carry. Sounds like you got the deal of the century. From PineRidge's pictures it doesn't appear too difficult to install. Haven't purchased mine yet, going to check another dealer however the salesman told me be thankful its for a New Holland and not a Kubota. He said Kubota rear remotes are $900+. I tought $503 was high?!

You got about the same price as GATC35, I think. The first remote is about twice as expensive as the next two, so if you had bought two instead of just one, you would have the same price as he had or very nearly the same price.

Remotes are like potato chips...just can't buy one. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
