After much research, debating and soul searching I decided to buy an L3800. It took about a week for all of the options to be installed but it finally arrived on Tuesday. Here's what I ended up with:
L3800 HST, R4 tires (filled with antifreeze), LA524 with Quick Attach and 66 bucket, bucket level indicator, 3 remote valves (2 FD, 1 standard), top-n-tilt (GearMore), telescopic stabilizer, cruise control, work light, LP HR2572 box blade, LP GS1572 grading scraper, LP Quick Hitch, pallet forks (Bobcat) and a clevis.
I believe I heard the old JD 2630 breathe a sigh of relief knowing he is finally retired.
Thanks to all of you who contributed your thoughts and advice during my research.
