First of all, thank you for all the replies to my topic from a couple of weeks ago about ZT's. I ended buying a Cub Cadet. It has a 46" fabricated deck, and a Honda GXV 630 engine. It was a reconditioned unit from HD. (Sold to someone who had an issue and returned it). It had 1.2 hours on it and the price was $1499.00. It would not start when I tried to buy it, and the manager told me he couldn't sell it for that reason, but if his manager approved it, he would. They replaced the battery, put fresh gas and it still wouldn't start. I got it home, my brother found the fuel shut off solenoid was gummed up. So far, so good, and it runs great. The engine alone sells for almost that much.

Sounds like a good deal.

I hadn't seen any zero turns with Honda power. I'm a fan of Briggs engines but I would settle for a Honda over a Kohler any day.

I bought a Craftsman mower for half price in 2004. It was an 03 model and was sitting under the cover behind Sears. Seat was folded forward and the switch was dangling. Guy said it was waiting to be fixed. It had never been sold. I took it home and spent 15 minutes on it to get it running. Just sold it for$100 less than I paid for it.

But I have to ask.....why put a drink holder on these things? There is no way under the sun I could sip anything without coming to a complete halt.

That's my kind of shopping.

I don’t carry a drink a drink on my ZTR but I could do it while driving in a mostly straight line.

I have a covered cup with my drink, I do have to slow down to take a sip but it does get dusty on that ZT.
