Bought a used F150

I found ,on the net, similar to Craiglist , this 93 F150 4wd pick up. Have been looking for a while for a decent truck not to expensive and I came across this one. It is in very good shape and only has 51,000 miles on it, always garage kept by an older gentlemen in his 80's , since he passed away his grandson road for 3 months and he put it for sale cause he found it hard to commute with the price of gaz, I was the 1rst one to phone when he put it up early tuesday morning and went and got it yesterday. He told me the phone did not stoped ringing after I phoned him , people wanting it.
It has a 5L motor , I'm not sure what gaz consumption it gets and I much I can tow,I have the owners manual , I will have to find out.It is like new inside and out and has been rustproofed and no rust whatso ever( very rare up in Quebec with all the salt).

Nice looking truck. My favorite Ford body style. I have a '94 F250 powerstroke that is a work truck. I also had a '95 F150 at one time and liked it.

I had a 92 4x4 with the 302, 5 speed manual and same body, bed configuration. It got 15-16 mpg. The tow rating should be around 6,500 lbs for an automatic or 4,800 lbs for a manual, the clutch was the weak link. Other than fuel pumps and u-joints I had no trouble with mine in the 8 years, 130K miles I had it for.

That body style has great lines and will become a classic in the future!

Had one just a little older than yours, same body and engine, with an auto tranny and it would get 16-17mpg down the highway.
