Bought a new Kioti CK35.............

Nearly a month ago........haven't heard boo or go to **** from my Utah dealer...is this the norm ? They get the $16K sale and forget about the consumer ? Not even a call....hey how's the new tractor ?? Just curious how other Kioti sales have gone in the USA...very happy with the machine....got a 5' box scraper & 6' rock rake so far with the sale....of course the 130 FEL....have lots of pending projects for the CK35....gonna need a PHD soon too....weather permitting.............:thumbsup:

Congratulations on the new tractor. I think every dealer is different just like when buying a car. Some call and some don't. When I bought my CK30hst several years ago, he rolled it off the truck, we talked a bit, and then he said if you have any problems or questions, give me a call. That worked for me.

I've had two dealers. One I never heard from again and they did not follow up well when I called. My second dealer did not make a followup call but was extremely clear when he delivered the tractor that I should call if any issue came up. I don't like answering the phone so the approach used by my second dealer was ideal for me. They have been most helpful when I do call. I am glad my dealer doesn't subscribe to a robomarketing philosophy the way that some big corporations do.

Welcome to the pack. I never heard from my dealer after the sale, and he subsequently went out of business a year later leaving me with the nearest dealer a hundred miles away. When I bought my Volkswagen diesel, the dealer called me every 4 month. Bit of a bother. I agree with Island, don't call me unless you have information for me. I know how to call if I have a problem.

I haven't had any problems in the past five years - hope you are as happy with your machine as I am with mine!

I've purchased three new homes and never once had the builder or Realtor call to check in. I've purchased two or three new cars and not had a call. I've purchased Disney vacations and never got a call. I've even purchased a couple of happy meals and not received a call. I can't recall the last time I got a customer satisfaction call, Honda threatens with letters saying I'll get a customer sat call but they've never come.

I wouldn't have even thought about receiving a call.

But now that I think about it, McDonald's owes me a call

Over the years I've bought cars, tractors, motorcycles, snowmobiles, zero turn mowers, Etc.
I've never had dealer call and I can't say I ever expected a dealer to call.

Well, this is turning into a bit of a customer service discussion so here goes

I ordered a hydraulic top link and hose kit from Welcome ? AGRISTORE USA

Surprised that I got a call from Brigit at Agri Store the day after the shipment arrived (and it was on time exactly when UPS said it would be) just to make sure everything was OK.

Did not expect it. Glad to have received it and it only took about 30 seconds.
She didn't ask for any more business but, if they are selling what I need I'll sure give them high consideration if the price is competitive.

I bought a CK-27 and when it was delivered the dealer stuck around and showed me the features and things to watch for. About a month later I got a nice letter from him asking if everything was going well. So I'm happy with the machine and the dealer.

A simple letter is a nice compromise. I just don't like commercial phone calls that I do not initiate.

I bought a stove from BestBuy about a year ago and have been hounded by post sales phone calls ever since by presumably diligent employees, none of whom I actually dealt with or met. I receive calls not only from BestBuy but also from the manufacturer and even from the service agency that came out to fix a small problem. I even got a phone call from the delivery company asking for feedback. They always seem to call around dinnertime too. Enough with the communication already. Leave me in peace.

I am most happy making my own assessment pre sale by just meeting the dealer and being comfortable that he/she is someone I can rely on if I do need to contact them with a question or problem. No amount of scripted followup calls or "personalized" form letters can substitute for my own first hand experience with the dealer.

When I bought my Bobcat I got a nice letter from the dealer, and a box with a few gifts, they didnt call, but I was in almost every week buying things and the salesman would always chat with me.
He was surprised when I had it in for the 50 hour service at 3 and a half months
